"Genesis" has been one of those paintings that have been shelved for a few years now just because I didn't know what I wanted to do with it, until I completely forgot about it. I found it in the back with many other incomplete paintings and just stared at it for a while until I decided to just "roll with it." I usually like to plan my paintings out, from the colours I use to the lines, but to break routine a little bit, I decided to be a little spontaneous with this one, and I think it worked out pretty well.
